Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of Kick, including pitch bookings, venue admission tickets, payments, and entry.

Effective 29 September 2026

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms & Conditions form a binding agreement between you and Kick. By creating an account, making a booking, buying an admission ticket, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. If you arrange a booking for a team, group, child, or another person, you confirm that you have authority to act for them and will make these terms and applicable venue rules known to them.

2. Accounts and information

You must provide accurate, current information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report suspected unauthorised access. We may ask you to verify information or identity where reasonably needed for security, payment, support, or entry.

You must create an account or log in before purchasing a booking or ticket. The account holder is responsible for receiving and safeguarding the confirmation and sharing necessary attendance details with their group.

3. Availability, bookings, and tickets

  • Pitch bookings apply only to the pitch, date, and fixed time slot shown at checkout. Venue admission tickets apply only to the venue, visit date, and quantity shown.
  • Selecting a slot or starting payment does not guarantee it. A booking is confirmed only after Kick receives and verifies a successful Paystack payment notification and issues a ticket or confirmation.
  • Pending reservations may expire automatically. If payment completes after a hold expires, contact us with the transaction reference so the payment can be investigated.
  • Availability, descriptions, images, rules, and prices may change before a booking is confirmed. The details on the issued confirmation govern the booking.
  • Each ticket is valid only for its confirmed booking and may be checked once. Do not alter, duplicate, publish, sell, or misuse a ticket or QR code.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in Nigerian naira unless stated otherwise. You authorise Paystack and its payment partners to process the amount shown at checkout. Paystack’s own terms and privacy notice also apply to its payment service.

A browser redirect, debit alert, or payment receipt by itself does not create a confirmed booking. Kick treats the verified Paystack webhook as the authoritative payment result. You must not make a second payment for the same reference while the first is still being verified. Contact us if the status remains pending or you believe you were charged more than once.

5. Cancellations, changes, and refunds

Confirmed bookings are final. We do not offer customer-requested cancellations, rescheduling, transfers, credits, or change-of-mind refunds, including where you arrive late, do not attend, bring fewer people, or cannot meet a venue requirement disclosed before purchase.

This rule does not remove any remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. If Kick or the venue cancels a confirmed service, cannot provide the booked service, or a duplicate or unauthorised payment is verified, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law and may offer a replacement slot, credit, or refund as appropriate.

Where applicable consumer law gives you a right to cancel an advance booking, that right continues to apply. A reasonable cancellation charge may be deducted where the law permits it. Contact us promptly so the circumstances and any required remedy can be assessed.

6. Attendance, safety, and conduct

Arrive early enough for check-in and leave promptly when the booked period ends. You and your group must follow posted venue rules, staff instructions, capacity limits, age restrictions, equipment requirements, and reasonable health and safety directions. Entry may require the valid ticket and information that reasonably matches the booking contact.

Football and venue activities involve physical risk. Participants are responsible for deciding whether they are fit to take part, using suitable equipment, supervising children, and behaving safely. Staff may refuse entry or remove anyone whose conduct is unsafe, abusive, unlawful, fraudulent, or materially disruptive. No refund is due where access is refused for a breach of these terms or venue rules.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use false details, impersonate another person, or use a payment method without authority;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass the platform’s security or availability controls;
  • attempt to reserve the same inventory through automated or abusive requests;
  • use a ticket fraudulently or interfere with another customer’s booking; or
  • use Kick for any unlawful purpose.

We may limit or suspend access, cancel an unconfirmed reservation, invalidate a fraudulently obtained ticket, or report conduct where reasonably necessary to protect customers, venues, payments, or the platform.

8. Platform and intellectual property

Kick and its licensors own the platform, brand, interface, software, and original content. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the platform for personal booking and ticket-management purposes in accordance with these terms. Venue names, images, and third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners.

We may maintain, update, or temporarily suspend parts of the platform. We aim to provide accurate availability and uninterrupted access but cannot promise that the service will always be error-free or continuously available.

9. Responsibility and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kick is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by information you entered incorrectly, events outside our reasonable control, or a venue or payment provider’s independent acts. Our aggregate liability arising from a particular booking will not exceed the amount paid to Kick for that booking.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, warranties, guarantees, or consumer remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded.

10. Changes, severability, and assignment

We may update these terms for future use of the platform. The revised terms take effect when published or on a later date stated in the notice; they do not retrospectively change a confirmed booking unless required by law. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent. We may transfer it as part of a lawful reorganisation or transfer of the service, subject to your applicable rights.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint promptly. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria, subject to any mandatory consumer right to use another forum or dispute process.

You may also submit an eligible consumer complaint to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (opens in a new tab).
